Four artists received recognition at the closing reception of the 14th Annual Penfield Art Association at Legacy at Willow Pond Autumn Art Show and Sale.
Marilyn Nosky received the Legacy Residents’ Choice Award for her watercolor Wickham Farms Sunflower Fields. The Resident’s Merit Award went to Linda Marzano, for her portrait of a dog, Rembrandt.
Gail Rivera received the Visitors’ Choice Award for her acrylic abstract, Animals at Play.
Kathy Lindsley won the Penfield Scene Award for her watercolor, The Clark House, selected by Penfield Town Supervisor Tony LaFountain.
The autumn show, presented in cooperation with the Legacy at Willow Pond senior living apartment complex, included 100 paintings by 35 area artists. Formed in 1963, the Penfield Art Association today has more than 75 members from throughout the Rochester area. The organization is open to artists of all skill levels and people interested in the two-dimensional visual arts.
