An exhibit of 126 paintings paintings by 37 Penfield Art Assoiation artists will be on display at Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Rd., Penfield, NY, in the Community Room Monday, June 3, through Saturday, June 8. A reception and awards ceremony takes place 7-9 p.m. June 3.
The show is open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. June 3, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. June 4, 10-8 p.m. June 5, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. June 6, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. June 7, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. June 8.

The artwork will be judged by award-winning artist David Gardner. Gardner spent his career in architecture while doing a brief stint in commercial illustration. He designed many buildings around New York while operating an architectural firm in Rochester for 26 years. He now teaches watercolor painting at the Memorial Art Gallery’s Creative Workshop. He belongs to many local and national watercolor associations, and his work has received local and national awards.
The Spring Art Show and Sale is one of three annual exhibits presented by the Penfield Art Association. Formed in 1963, the Penfield Art Association today has members from throughout the Rochester area. The organization is open to artists of all skill levels and people interested in the two-dimensional visual arts.
