Three artists received recognition at the closing reception of the 11th Annual Penfield Art Association at Legacy at Willow Pond Autumn Art Show and Sale.
Kathy Lindsley’s watercolor painting Gentles on My Mind received both the Penfield Scene Award and the Legacy Residents’ Choice Award.
The Visitors’ Choice Award went to John Heister for Quiet Sail.
Erika Hutch received the Legacy Residents’ Merit Award for her pastel portrait, Fleeting Moment.
The autumn show, in cooperation with the Legacy at Willow Pond senior living apartment complex, is one of three annual exhibits presented by the Penfield Art Association. Formed in 1963, the Penfield Art Association today has more than 100 members from throughout the Rochester area. The organization is open to artists of all skill levels and people interested in the two-dimensional visual arts.
