Eighteen artists received awards for outstanding work at the Penfield Art Association Spring 2025 Show & Sale.

The judge for this show is award-winning artist, Lanna Pejovic. She studied art at Rochester Ins0tute of Technology, the Accademia di Belle Art in Florence, Italy, and Tyler School of Art in Rome. She received her BFA and MFA in painting at Tyler School in Philadelphia and taught at Rochester Insti0tute of Technology for more than 30 years, retiring in 2020. She has also taught drawing and painting at the Creative Workshop  of Rochester’s Memorial Art Gallery and at SUNY Geneseo and currently teaches and serves on the board of directors at the Mill Art Center & Gallery in Honeoye Falls, NY. She has exhibited widely in the Rochester region and internationally and her work is in numerous private and public collections.

The show, which features 122 paintings by 39 members, runs through Saturday, June 7, at the Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Road, Penfield. It is open  9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 2-5; 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, June 6; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, June 7.
