was held at Channing Philbrook Park on Tuesday, June 16th. Those in attendance feasted on appetizers, entrees, salads and yummy desserts brought by members. This event is truly a time to get to know your fellow PAA members better, or to renew acquaintances. I strongly urge any of you who have not attended in the past to consider attending next year. A short business meeting is held where a vote is taken on the incoming Board members by those in attendance. The PAA gavel was passed from outgoing PAA President Pattie Katchmar to incoming President Suzi Zefting-Kuhn. Pattie was presented with a gift from the PAA in gratitude for her service as President. Then it was on to the games lovingly organized by Doris Kure and Chloe Bennett Larson. Following is a sampling of photos taken during the picnic.
The always fun blindfolded portrait drawing contest! Chloe enlisted the aide of two young women on their own picnic in the park to serve as our inpartial jurors for 1st place and 2nd place. Congratulations to Christine Waara for her 1st Place win and to Flo Mooney for her 2nd Place win.
And the fun toss………….Tom Sweeney had his own technique!
