When painting subjects in motion, Rochester artist Valerie Larsen begins by wetting watercolor paper with a mixture of water and glycerine, then using a wet-into-wet painting technique. She demonstrated this process at the April PAA meeting. All monthly meetings include a presentation by an area artist. Visitors are welcome!
