Megan Stover’s Artist Statement:

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I truly began my art journey in the third grade when I discovered the magic of drawing dragons. I was always obsessed with fantastical creatures, monsters, and animals since I was little, so combining that with art was simply the only thing for me to do.

My mother, an artist herself, helped to foster my passion for creation. As I grew older, I branched out into different mediums including acrylic, charcoal and silk painting, although my favorites are oil paint and reliable pencil and paper.

My dream is to become a professional artist, and to learn to create the art I don’t yet have the skills to make. I love experimenting with different styles and techniques, from realism, to impressionism, to stylistic character design.
